Some activities are a short walk from the centre and we have access to a fleet of minibuses to explore the Lake District. This opens up experiences all round the lakes from Canoeing, Kayaking and Raft Building on Coniston Water, to exploring the amazing Rock Climbing, Ghyll Scrambles and Hill Walks of Eskdale, Coniston and the Duddon valley. The centre is licensed with the Adventure Activities Licensing Service (AALS) to provide adventurous activities all year round.

Our activity programmes are developed with your group in mind so please approach us with any ideas and suggestions that you may want to incorporate. Outdoor activities can be an excellent platform for learning, incorporating personal development, leadership and team building. We specialise in inclusion of disabled and non disabled people, therefore all our activities and programmes are designed to be as inclusive as possible and are developed with the aims of your group in mind.

Kepplewray provides specialist equipment and transport for all activities where needed as part of the cost. We also can provide National Governing Body (NGB’s) training and assessment courses in Canoeing, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Mountain Walking and Archery. We also run programmes with the John Muir award, D of E award and can provide Disability Awareness Training through our outdoor programme.
