Challenging disability at Kepplewray

Kepplewray has been specially designed around the concept of inclusiveness . . . .

Kepplewray's inclusive policy encourages group members of all abilities to experience the enjoyment and fulfillment that is to be gained from participating together in recreational, leisure and learning activities.

Everyone wants to have a go at the abseil tree!

Special provision is made for groups and families which include members with disabilities.  Whatever your requirements a warm welcome is guaranteed.

Kepplewray has been specifically developed to offer fully accessible accommodation.   A lift provides good access between the floors.  Bedrooms, toilets and showers are carefully designed to provide independence and ease-of-use for guests with disabilities.  We have equipment for lifting and special furniture to suit those with various disabilities.  The centre has been designed to cater for the needs of those with hearing or vision impairment.

The staff are trained and qualified to provide a high quality service for all our guests.  Our catering staff can provide for special dietary needs.

Minibus transport with access for all can be provided.

The activities that we organise are inclusive.  This includes canoeing, abseiling, cycling and archery.

All this has been done without Kepplewray feeling institutional.  The whole ethos is inclusiveness.  This means providing a brilliant time for those without disabilities as well.
