Family breaks at Kepplewray
Kepplewray is the ideal place to bring your family for fun, adventure and relaxation.
Enjoy Relaxation at Kepplewray
Kepplewray is a splendid Edwardian mansion set in its own grounds and has been thoroughly modernised to provide high quality accessible accommodation. It is situated in the Lake District National Park. The market town of Broughton-in-Furness, which is a short walk away, has a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
The house is very comfortable whatever the time of year. We have lounges with log fires, a pool table, a table tennis table, TVs, a video and various board games. There are a variety of bedrooms to suit all requirements - some en-suite, and some family rooms. Many rooms have a washbasin and all have excellent accessible showers and toilets nearby. Bedding is provided but please bring your own soap and towel.
Kepplewray provides accommodation on a full-board basis (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner). All dietary requirements are catered for and advance notice of these is requested. Hot and cold drinks are available in the dining room at all times.
All holidays start at 4pm. Guests should be out of their bedrooms by 10am on the day of departure. A packed lunch is available to take with you on the last day.
Enjoy Activities at Kepplewray
There is a whole raft of activities available to guests whilst staying at Kepplewray. Try your hand at canoeing, climbing, abseiling, and archery to name but a few. If you would like to do something less strenuous then try the problem solving and team challenges in the garden.
Activities are designed for all ages and abilities, they all follow strict safety guidelines and are supervised by qualified instructors so that you do not need to worry about your family’s welfare and you can just get on with enjoying yourselves.
Enjoy the Lake District
The Lake District is an ideal place to relax and unwind. There are many places to visit nearby if you would like to do your own thing: Muncaster Castle and Owl Centre, Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, the South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Lakeside Aquarium, Coniston Water and Windermere, Beatrix Potter’s house and many others.
