Kepplewray at the Great North Run
We have another team running on 30th September 2007. If you are running with us, you should have received a letter in July from John Libby giving more details.
You can create your own web sponsorship form on:
This allows your sponsors to contribute online and benefit from tax-efficient giving to Kepplewray. If you have any questions about the GNR just give us a call on 01229 716 936 or email us.
Thanks very much if you were one of the 44 runners who ran to raise funds for Kepplewray on 1st October 2006. We had a really good day. We raised about £350 per runner on average. That is a great effort!
We offer our runners:
· 100 metres from the race start, a meeting place for our team,
with drinks, toilets and changing facilities!
· Kepplewray minibuses to transport your kit to our facilities at the finish
· Kepplewray facilities at the finish with food, drink, masseur... and of
course, your kit!
· To join in the Kepplewray Team and gain these amazing privileges, we ask
for a commitment to a minimum of £250 sponsorship made up of a
registration fee of £50 payable beforehand plus at least £200 sponsorship.
What will happen to the money you raise?
Kepplewray is an inclusive, fully accessible activity, education and holiday
centre for disabled and non-disabled people, situated in the Lake District.
Your support will enable more individuals, groups, schools and families to
enjoy time away together and to participate in a wide range of outdoor
activities. So many otherwise would not be able to join in!
“Your running for Kepplewray will give disabled children the opportunity to stay at the Centre with their friends”.
