School multi-activity and fieldwork courses

Kepplewray is an ideal place to bring your school.  It is in beautiful mountainous countryside close to nature reserves, rivers, old industrial and mining sites and the Duddon valley made famous by Wordsworth in his poetry.

The Kepplewray Centre in the Lake District National Park is an exciting, fully inclusive residential Education and Activity Centre - opened in May 1998 - that welcomes all, and especially School groups which include disabled pupils.

Kepplewray provides an ideal base to fulfil many curriculum and extra curriculum needs:

  • Multi-Activity programmes for all Key Stages

  • Special Year 6 'Moving Up' programmes

  • Leadership, Life Skills, and Self-Confidence training

  • Fieldwork and study weeks

  • Environmental studies

  • Problem solving and Teambuilding

  • Expedition training

You can choose from a wide range of activity options - from outdoor activities to art and craft - or we can tailor-make your programme to fit your requirements.  all courses incorporate elements to enhance disability awareness and understanding.  Add 'spice' to your curriculum through Special Programmes of Initiative, Challenge, and Education . . . including unique 'Journeys of Discovery' which provide opportunities for personal and team development through full day expeditions of adventure and challenge.
