Church Groups

Kepplewray is ideally situated to bring your Church for a retreat, a leader's weekend, a youth group camp or simply the place for church members to come together and relax. The Kepplewray Centre is equipped with facilities for all ages and abilities, and we can provide instructors for a range of outdoor activities for those wanting a physical as well as spiritual few days. The Lake District has many well-known beauty spots, but for those wanting to be off the beaten track and away from the crowds, our staff can advise on serene and quiet locations.

Kepplewray has a strong Christian heritage, beginning when a group of Christians, many of whom are still involved with Kepplewray today, wanted a place where people of all ages and abilities could come together to share the Gospel, learn from each other through outdoor activities and enjoy Christian fellowship.

Currently The Kepplewray Centre hosts camps run by Christian organisations such as CPAS, and with the wide range of activities available for children and adults alike, we can devise a programme which will be tailored to support your ministry objectives. Our aim is to give all guests a happy and rewarding experience.

  • We offer a simple and affordable 'price per head' that covers the accommodation, access to lounges, meals and refreshments.
  • Pre-School children stay FREE and we offer a discount for all school-aged children.
  • If you are short of ideas of what to do or how to arrange it, we are happy to offer any advice.
